Data Insight Analyst

SUMMARY
We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Insights Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, data extraction, and analytics. This individual will play a crucial role in driving our data initiatives forward, enabling us to extract actionable insights and optimize performance across our projects. Your insights will guide strategic decisions, optimize operations, and enhance the effectiveness of our projects. You will be at the heart of our decision-making process, turning data into actionable strategies that drive our success.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Extraction and Integration:
Design and implement robust data extraction processes from various sources, including databases, APIs, and structured/unstructured data sources. Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery for analysis and optimization purposes. Integrate disparate data sources to create unified datasets for analysis and reporting.Project Optimization:
Analyze project performance metrics and identify opportunities for enhancement through data-driven insights. Develop algorithms and models to optimize software projects based on performance data and user feedback.Data Analysis and Visualization:
Extract, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights. Use statistical tools and models to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Develop and present regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Utilize advanced analytics techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations within the data. Develop and implement data visualization solutions to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders. Work closely with team members and analysts to translate business requirements into actionable insights.Data Governance and Quality Assurance:
Implement best practices for data governance, including data quality monitoring, metadata management, and data lineage tracking. Ensure data integrity and reliability through rigorous testing and validation procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data standards and guidelines. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used for analysis. Recommend improvements to data collection and management processes.Technical Leadership and Innovation:
Work closely with project managers, software developers, and business leaders to understand their information needs and provide data-driven support for strategic planning and operational improvements. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and analytics. Champion innovation and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the data engineering domain. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and apply innovative approaches to enhance project outcomes.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Proven experience in data engineering. Strong Microsoft SQL and Excel skills. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.-
