Senior Accountant – Fraud Screening

Qatar Airways is looking for experienced staff to join our Fraud screening team as Senior Accountant to drive its newly established Global Business Services (GBS) operations in Ahmedabad, India.

The position will be responsible for matters relating to payment fraud transactions by screening the card payments and ensuring there is no revenue loss to QR. In addition, prepare defense for chargebacks received from acquiring banks appropriately and in a timely manner to safeguard QR interests.

Responsibilities:

Screening of all card transactions Monitor potential fraud Advise stakeholders to action on fraudulent transactions & maintaining it in Fraud Screening case management system Timely addressing of Dispute/fraud/Chargeback/RFI notification Provide data support for chargeback case management Adherence of PCI-DSS compliance Support audit/investigations Preparing management report

Qualifications

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a similar area of study Prior experience in the aviation credit-card processing preferred Should have relevant experience in fraud screening for bank or travel industry preferred Working knowledge of Card schemes rules, regulations, Airline Reservation Systems Strong analytical skills Strong communication skills in English Good understanding of the local accounting standards
