SAS Developer

Job Locations IN-Pune Requisition ID 20060674 Job Category Research and Development Travel Requirements None Participate in SAS Risk, Fraud and Compliance solutions development for global markets  Contribute to design, development, unit testing, integration testing and documentation of product features - using SAS programming language, SAS tools and scripting languages  Work as a Quality Champion to implement and enhance CI practices for the product in collaboration with deployment experts and peer developers.

Requirement

SAS Technologies: SAS Macro Programming using SAS Infrastructure for Risk Management, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Risk Stratum or SAS Risk Cirrus for orchestration  Other Tools/Technologies involved: Jenkins, Gitlab, XML, Javascript, Groovy, AWS Managed Instances, Azure, Python Behavioral:  Communicative team player Actively seeks to update own knowledge base and apply new concepts to work Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with a creative approach to work Able to solve the technical issues and challenges individually Up-to-date technical knowledge, technologies by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications Domain skills (preferred):  Basic understanding of financial instruments/products and financial markets Background in Risk Management, Actuarial Science and/or Accounting

Mandatory Technical Skills

Expertise in Base SAS, SAS Macro programming Exposure to Jenkins, Gitlab, Test Framework Automation  Hands on expertise of SQL, Python  Knowledge of performance tuning techniques on SAS

Total Years of Relevant experience

3-5 years

Education Preference

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
