JobResponsibilities:


  • Makingdrawings/layout for detaileddesign approval for Weldingfixtures & Assembly Robots Special purpose Automationmachines Material handling pick/place and assembly systems RoboticsGripping systems and overall robotic cells Material feedingmechanisms Conveyors
  • Providetechnical support to customers during all phases of design& development including product validation start ofproduction (SOP) and postSOP.
  • Communicateall engineering and development issues as needed to internalfunctions Program Management Sales Manufacturing Quality Warrantyand Engineering Management.
  • Prepareand conduct technical presentations (Customer internal).
  • Draftingthe required design specifications as per the standard availableprocess. Quality check of the prepared drawings.
  • Assistand lead root cause analysis of technical issuesin CAD & drafting servicerequests.


Requirements
  • EducationalQualifications Diploma/B.E. Mechanical
  • 36 years of work experience
  • Nature of experience OEM Auto / Auto Ancillary (tier 1) preferred.
  • CAD:AutoCAD (Primary) Solid Edge (secondary) SolidWorks(tertiary).
  • CompetenciesDetail Drawing GD &T Solid Assembly modeling
  • Knowledgeof Factory Automation / Plant Layout Design / Robotics
  • Thoroughunderstanding of GD&T stackups
  • Workingknowledge of at least one PLM (team Center SAP)
  • Understandingof materials and heat treatment process is required.
  • Workingknowledge of sheet metal Casting Forging Stamping & Weldingprocesses is essential.
  • MSoffice(Word Excel PowerPoint)
