Job Description

As a QA engineer at Pluang, you will enhance customer experience and engagement across our web and mobile applications by closely collaborating with Product and Engineering teams. Your core focus will be on ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our applications, both on mobile and web. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test suites for our applications and website.

What you will be doing

Develop and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications using Appium.

Develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications using Selenium or other test frameworks

Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.

Execute automated test scripts and report defects, ensuring a high standard of quality in our releases.

Work with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools to integrate automated tests into the build process.

Utilize test automation platforms like BrowserStack and LambdaTest for cross-browser and cross-device testing.

Analyze test results, identify trends, and work with the development team to resolve issues.

Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation and best practices.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in test automation technologies.

What we are looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of experience in automation testing for mobile and web applications.

Proficiency in Appium for mobile test automation.

Proficiency in Selenium for web test automation.

Experience with test automation platforms such as BrowserStack and Lambda Test.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the build pipeline.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with performance testing tools.

Familiarity with API testing and tools such as Postman.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of trading and investment platforms is a strong plus.
