Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data ETL routines to integrate datafrom disparate source systems into an integrated businessintelligence environment including defining sourcetotarget mappingsbusiness rules and other required data transformations
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BISSRS or other BI technologies.
  • Ensuring thequality of the data through utilization of process andtechnology
  • Participation in activelyformulating and maintaining both a data catalog and a datadictionary
  • Providing data marts and data lakesto support business initiatives
  • Conductbusiness analysis to define the required data to fulfill onbusiness requirements
  • Meet with Customers tounderstand business problems and questions exploring options tomodel data driven platforms used for analyzing answers
  • Become a trusted partner for Customers who translatesbusiness problems into analysis; then helps interpret the analysisinto actionable steps
  • Actively participate inthe design development and maintenance of complex BI DashboardsReports Queries and integrated applications

Qualifications:

  • 35 years of experience in the Microsoft businessintelligence platform including SQL Server databases SQL ServerIntegration Services Power BI/SSRS & SSAS and/or Azure CloudServices
  • 35 years of building and maintainingdata integration processes
  • 23 years supportinglarge scale data integration and ETL processes including dailymonitoring and operational support
  • Strongexperience working in data warehouse architectures
  • Experience building formatted paginated reports using MSSSRS
  • Experience with PowerBI dashboarddevelopment or experience with one or more BI reporting tools likeQlikView/QlikSense Tableau Micro Strategy Open Source reporting isa plus
  • Experience with the PowerBI CloudServices
  • Significant experience in the designand development of data integration solutions and dataanalysis
  • Expert in automating data integrationroutines
  • Expert in optimization of dataintegration processing and database design
  • Expertise in designing and developing dashboards reportsanalytics and data visualization solutions.
  • Experience in creating dimensional data models acrossmultiple subject areas is a plus
  • Strongcommand of MS Excel
  • Experience and familiaritywith processes platforms and stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communicationskills
  • Excellent technical documentationskills
  • Ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment with minimum over sight. You would own building afuture proof integration architecture to solve integration needsacross projects.
  • Balances a variety ofcompeting goals in a design including project time scope and budgetconstraints and system performance message verbosity and loosecoupling.
