Position Summary

1. Study, follow and implement the systems and procedures and standards in existence and make improvements
2. Administering a quality assurance program that aims at ensuring continuous production that is consistent with the adopted and established quality standards
3. Effective and efficient managing of incoming inspection process
4. Reporting of NCR and coordinate with all cross functions for root cause analysis, corrective / preventive actions and closure of NCs
5. Keep up-to-date analysis and records for NCR and release on monthly basis
6. Coordinate with Sourcing & Operations team for sorting out issues related to IMS; ensure necessary corrective / preventive measures
7. Preparation of WPS, PQR and maintain the records of Welders Qualification
8. Preparing IMS documentation, Quality plans, conducting Internal audits to ensure compliance with adopted standards
9. Provide the awareness to all employees with regards to the criticality of quality and the adopted standards
10. To understand ITT Global Supplier Quality Development Process and ensuring Quality conformance of out-sourced items
11. Supplier evaluation and approval in coordination with Sourcing team
12. To ensure acceptance criteria is implemented at supplier end and arrest any rework to be carried out subsequently
13. To conduct batch audit at different supplier base and ensure the desired quality is met according to internal standards
14. Install necessary controls during manufacturing processes and final inspection to ensure that products being delivered are meeting the customer requirements
15. Ensure periodic calibration of all monitoring and measuring equipment and maintain the record
16. Capture, analyze and resolve all warranty claims and ensure their root cause analysis and corrective actions in conjunction with relevant functions
17. Provide assistance and guidance to all colleagues to uplift their skills and knowledge

Essential Responsibilities

o Diploma / Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Mechanical , Metallurgy )

o At least 10+ yrs of working experience in quality department

o Drawing interpretation and usage of quality tools and measuring instruments
o Familiar with international codes and specification, such as ASME, ASTM, DIN, API, etc
o Knowledge of design & manufacturing processes of pumps /rotating equipment
o Technical knowledge in materials, welding, coating / painting
o Well conversant with quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2008
o Familiar with ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements
o Management in leading a team and working in a team environment
