Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the claims processing lifecycle from initiation of a claim through to settlement.
  • This role is tasked with providing Claim settlement focused on efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for building a strong and robust team as well as implement processes around claims servicing.
  • Structured Team reviews & publishing of process monitoring dashboards on a regular basis to ensure that SOP is adhered to and promptly escalated exceptions on process compliance as appropriate.
  • Stay up to date on industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Thorough on the compliance and regulatory requirements and implementation in the claims process.
  • Ensure claims of valid settlements are made according to the company practice and procedures.
  • Examine claim forms and records to determine the coverage in the insurance policy statements.
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure knowledge sharing on market trends, legal changes, and loss developments.
  • Building a new age claim management system along with tech department
  • Set up and create robust governance to manage claim assessment and settlement process.

 



Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Must have 12-14 years’ experience of Insurance claims management.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in lead role.
  • Need experience of setting up a team from scratch (Preferred but not mandatory)
  • Should Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Educational Qualification:

MBA/CA/Agri Graduate/preferably agricultural related graduate degree.
