Marketing Specialist (Website Development Focus)

We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Specialist who will play a key role in developing a brand-new website from scratch as the first and main priority. After successfully completing the website, the role will transition to supporting a variety of marketing initiatives, including content creation, digital marketing, and campaign development to enhance brand visibility and support growth objectives. This job will require the candidate to work EST/CST timezones for the US based client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website Development (Primary Responsibility): Design, develop, and launch a new company website from scratch. This includes working with stakeholders to define the site's structure, content, and functionality, ensuring an optimized user experience, and implementing SEO best practices.

  • SEO & Web Management: Once the new website is launched, continuously optimize it for search engines and maintain ongoing web development and SEO strategies.

  • Content Creation: Develop and curate content for websites, blogs, social media platforms, email campaigns, and podcasts to boost online engagement.

  • Campaign Development: Design marketing campaigns to support recruitment, client acquisition, and business development efforts, including the creation of pitch decks and visual content.

  • Social Media & Podcasts: Manage and grow social media accounts, including creating strategies to expand podcast listenership and social following.

  • Presentations & Reports: Develop marketing collateral such as presentation packets, pitch decks, and vision decks to support business initiatives and client outreach.

  • Brand Strategy: Assist in refining and promoting brand identity across digital channels, focusing on differentiating the firm in the market.

  • Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of marketing efforts, using data to make informed recommendations for future initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in website development from scratch, including proficiency with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Experience with SEO best practices for website optimization.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience creating and proofreading content.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and cloud storage platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with video creation/editing for social media is a plus.
