The purpose of this position is to compile, consolidate & finalize the Fit For Future, Business Plan, Current Forecast, Monthly Results at Plant Level considering cost targets & business dynamics and to coordinate with Government & other Agencies for realization of applicable Incentives.
The role would also be responsible to liaise & provide Plant Results, Key Cost KPIs to Corporate, Directors Office & external agencies and coordinate with Internal, Statutory Audit team for audit closures.
Cost Management :
* Translate plant management initiatives into financial terms, comprehend on pros & cons, evaluate & interpret key financials at plant level (business drivers, KPIs, Key Metrics) and provide meaningful insights to Management.
* Co-ordinate & steer with Value Stream, Support functions & CFT (Sales, Development, Purchase & Corporate) to achieve Product & Plant Cost Performance in line with Targets, steer for early realization of cost measures through reviews & escalations at right time.
Steering Business Targets:
* Co-ordinate & link information across functions to drive Results based on Business Planning; Forecasting; FAR processes - Plant wise. Organize monthly Performance
Meeting with RCs & PMs to brief on Key KPIs, focus areas & Cost Measures status.
* Preparation for alignment with Regional Board (rGB) on all the Key Cost KPIs during LtPC, LtPM, TBP & Fit-for-Future, as per BU / rGB Targets incl. Robustness Check.
* Coordinate with all Stakeholders (GS, LOF, LOG, Banks, TAXI) for processing & realization of Export Benefits.
Deviation Management :
* Track monthly performance; analyse reasons for deviations - actuals Vs plan, establish cause & effect' relationships, provide early warning signals to concerned stakeholders & steer the plant financial results by actively partnering with CFT, VSO & Plant Management.
Business Case Evaluation :
* Evaluating different business models based on product requirements- labour mix, space, infrastructural costs, state govt. incentives available & working out new business
propositions to remain cost competitive .
Compliance, Governance & Others :
* Monitor and implement various Govt. incentive schemes available, (PLI benefits) - analyse, explore & implement for realization by maintaining effective data base including timely
filing of returns for improving free cash inflows.
Digital Transformation :
* Focus on continuous improvement process and implementation of digital & automation tools, thereby reducing manual efforts & data redundancy.
Accounting & Audit :
* Close coordination with Global Services (GS) team for periodic review of P&L/Balance Sheet/Intermediary accounts, VFX transactions to avoid cost impacts; liaise with Corporate
Depts. in getting right cost allocations for the Plant/Product in line with services.
* Coordinate & Liaise with External & Internal Auditors on clearance of accounts concerning Inventory, Accruals, RPT, etc.
People Management :
* Oversee & implement the controlling, accounting and digital fluency competency requirements based on the current and future trends and direct employee capacity development.
MIS & Key Financials :
* Prepare the Plant Performance Key Financials for review during visit of rGB, GLs, other Key Executives to BidP
* Workout Long Term Settlement financial evaluations - viz., Affordability, Settlement Recovery, Payback calculations as required based on the vital few offers by Management.
* Liaise with Corporate functions & provide requisite inputs as & when called for on Local GAAP & IFRS inputs to enable External & Internal Reporting.
Strategic Topics :
* Liaize & participate in the Plant Strategic Pillars to steer projects enabling accomplishment of Plant Vision / Mission.
* Workout multiple business models / scenarios - viz., Wholly-Owned-Subsidiary (WOS), etc. with scenarios to evaluate the feasibility (Ex : RBIM).
* Coordinate & liaize with Corporate - Finance, Legal & Secretarial functions on RBIM business transactions incl. filing of returns, accounts closure, requisite inputs for Board
Meeting, etc.
Competencies expected :

* Competent knowledge on Standard Costing, Variance Analysis, Costing Techniques & Budgetary Controls.
* Basic knowledge on Indirect Taxation; Transfer Price guidelines
* Advanced knowledge on latest IT tools - SAP FI & CO, MS Office, latest Automation tools &

Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in commerce, cost & management accountant from The Institute of Cost
Accountants of India (or) Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
* MBA from top 5 institutes (desirable)
with
* 8 - 10 years in Cost Management, Finance & Accounting
* Competent experience in Plant Financial Analysis
* Must have experience in a matrix organization
