Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities - 

Onsite reliability services related to Dry Gas Seals, including removal and installation of Dry Gas Seals on Compressors. To ensure site service visits are executed on time, meeting customer schedules and in compliance with Quality and HSE standards. To generate and record comprehensive site service reports summarizing site activities including observations, recommendations, and actions. To understand and report upon the commercial opportunities of each customer site visited. Identify opportunities with customers for retrofits and upgrades of Dry Gas Seals and Seal Gas Systems To act as liaison with the Reliability Group for seal related issues whilst on site. Create service quotations for Service order booking and after booking the order and liaise with the Energy Sales Support / JBAN Service center team resulting in timely submission of service invoices on completion of site service assignments. Support Sales and Finance teams on any issues related to payment, collection of statutory forms. On time submission of visit report, monthly report, movement plan. Willing to travel to various sites Pan India at short notice Support safe workplace cultures and compliance with Smiths EH&S Accountable for all field services activities related to reliability, installation, removal of dry gas seals across all sites in India and outside (if required) Accountable to prepare site service reports immediately on culmination of a site visit. The Individual

Skills & Experience - 

Mechanical / Production Engineering Degree with 5+ years of field experience in turbo / dry gas seals domain Hands on experience in turbo / dry gas seals domain is mandatory Knowledge of using SAP is added advantage Good verbal and communication skills in English with knowledge of Hindi as an added advantage
