Job Overview


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Headmistress to lead our Preprimary division at Podar Education Network. As the Headmistress, you will be responsible for providing effective leadership and management to ensure the smooth functioning of the Preprimary school. This is a mid-level position that requires 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role. The job is located in Igatpuri, Maharashtra, India, and the employment type is full-time.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 4 to 6 years of experience as a Headmistress or in a similar leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Postgraduate degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in managing a Preprimary school
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and parents
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Valid certifications in pre primary education (ECCED, NTT, Montessori)
  • Passionate about providing a holistic and empowering learning experience
  • Female candidates preferred


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the Preprimary division
  • Develop and implement educational policies and practices to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
  • Supervise and support teachers in implementing the curriculum effectively
  • Monitor student progress and ensure their well-being and safety
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and stakeholders
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Preprimary school
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate teaching staff
  • Work closely with the management team to achieve organizational goals
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in early childhood education
