About the department

The Finance Global Business Services (GBS) department in Bangalore was established in 2007 and is responsible for supporting various finance functions for Novo Nordisk globally. The Commercial Analytics team, which is part of Finance GBS, was founded in June 2013 with the aim of providing best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. Our team consists of dedicated analytics professionals who are committed to delivering superior service and adding value to processes through standardization and efficiency.

The position

As a Senior Associate II, you will be responsible for:

 Building strong collaboration with the Pricing and Contract Operations (PCOR) team in NNI. Ensuring timely and accurate creation of supporting reports and documentation for package payment  Supporting best-in-class processes for data governance, data validation, data entry, and data archives.  Identifying discrepancies and resolving them. Ensuring superior customer satisfaction by delivering high-end quality support.  Supporting ad-hoc tasks/projects. Utilizing your commercial knowledge of the pharma industry to add value to business discussions and decisions. Taking complete ownership of deliverables from end-to-end with a mindset of continuous improvement and sharing recommendations. Undergoing training on all processes in Contract Operations, including Formulary validation, rebate operations, Government contracts, master data management, and Market Access Insights. Supporting the process during high volume and resource constraints. Performing data preparation, including data reconciliation and validation of processes using various systems (Excel, Access, and Sequel). Providing monthly and quarterly reporting to stakeholders using various systems.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Good academic track records and grades. Around 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the pharma industry. Experience in analytics and reporting. Knowledge of the US healthcare system will be preferred. Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced). Model N and SAP experience and Power BI is a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent focus and attention to detail. Excellent time management abilities.
