Job Summary

As a senior member of the R&D organization in the Custom IC Group, your charter is to leverage tools and techniques of generative AI and apply them to the problems of automation in the domain of Analog Design. You will work with experts in the domain to identify areas where generative AI can be applied to improve productivity in the analog design flow, design and create solutions in identified areas, and deploy, maintain, and enhance said solutions.

This role provides the opportunity to participate in the evolution of applying the latest technologies in Machine Learning to an extremely complex engineering domain. Specifically, the application of generative AI to this field can potentially enhance the productivity of analog design companies significantly. The engineer in this position is expected to be a part of the team undertaking the challenge to making that gain a reality.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work with our customers to partner with them in bringing the solution to fruition.

Job Responsibilities :

Work with domain experts and other ML engineers to identify applications of generative AI in the Analog Design flow. Ideate to design and create solutions in this space. Create methodologies to deploy, maintain and enhance these solutions. Drive methodology and solution-oriented discussions with key stake holders Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in AI, software development, and system architecture.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience and Technical Skills required

10+ years of software engineering experience on large-scale production systems Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated software systems. Strong proficiency in programming languages, infrastructure, and technologies related to AI and ML Experience with Generative AI/LLMs is a plus, as is experience in working with Cloud based infrastructure. Knowledge of/experience in EDA will be an additional bonus Must have excellent debugging skills and ability to separate out the critical issues from trivial ones.

Must possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills. Ability to establish a close working relationship with both customer peers and management.
