What will your job look like?

Role Summary:

We are actively seeking a highly skilled Lead GenAI professional with expertise in areas of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and in Machine learning. This pivotal role is designed for a professional who not only possesses a deep understanding of machine learning and Generative AI, but also has a notable track record of deploying complex AI solutions into operational environments. The ideal candidate will blend technical proficiency, leadership capabilities, and a visionary approach to transform data into actionable insights and innovative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Set business objectives and targets to ensure success. You will answer the call to integrate various functions and business plans within the Amdocs Americas region. 

Identify and build opportunities for new testing services and markets as well as encourage innovative quality engineering and testing methodologies. 

Gain a full grasp of the business challenges in the related domain including market trends, future technologies, competition, and partners as well as compelling events that may affect the customer's current and future business growth. 

Inclusive leadership including matrix reporting. Accepting the challenge to attract, develop and retain talent and encourage collaboration between teams. Discover and develop an innovative mentality to achieve goals and support qualified risk-taking.

Build open lines of communication and develop processes and programs, that will encourage a multi-cultural team to achieve unit goals. Drive organizational integrity and assure excellent delivery across all regional engagements by enabling and promoting standard tools and practices used in the organization as well as drive out-of-the-box solutions that include introducing improvements to further build positive efficiency across operations. 

All you need is...

An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. At least 15 years of overall experience in IT, including project implementation and operations/team management.  A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in data science or machine learning, with a focus on the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions in real-world settings. At least 3 years of proven experience in leading and managing data science projects and teams, showcasing a strong ability to mentor and foster talent. Deep knowledge in Generative AI, Large Language Models, and the application of machine learning techniques to structured data. Proficiency in key data science and ML programming languages and tools, such as Python and SQL, is essential. Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a documented history of translating complex business problems into data-driven solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
