JOB DESCRIPTION: FOOD & BEVERAGEASSOCIATE
Job Purpose: To provide a warmfriendly and efficient food and beverage service to our guestsensuring
exceptional service standards are delivered andmaintained at all times in line with our guestexpectations.
Reports to: Clubhouse Restaurant & BarManager
Department: Food & Beverage
KeyDuties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist increating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests
  • Ensure that guests are seated and provided with menuspromptly
  • Ensure that all guests requests andqueries are responded to promptly and effectively and an
  • exceptional service is delivered to guests at alltimes
  • Familiarise yourself with the menu andas much information about the food and beverage offering
  • available in order to answer any questions guests mayhave
  • Take food and beverage orders and ensurethat orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar
  • promptly and accurately
  • Ensure anefficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in linewith guest expectations
  • ensuring anexceptional level of service is maintained at all times
  • Set up clear and promptly service tables after use toensure that guests can be seated in a timely
  • manner
  • Ensure the restaurant areasare clean and well presented at all times and assist with cleaningand
  • housekeeping duties as required
  • Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficientmanner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
  • and ensure that any guest complaints and comments arereported to management
  • Ensure all cash chargefloat and till procedures are carried out in line with agreedprocedures Prepare all back of house service points with regard toexpected numbers for breakfast lunch or
  • dinnerrequirements as necessary
  • Assist in the setup and preparation and provide service duties for functions asrequired
  • Support the kitchen staff as andwhen required and in accordance with hygiene and safetyregulations
  • Ensure that all front of houseand guest areas are well maintained at all times
  • Any other duties as directed by the Restaurant & BarManager or other member of the management
  • team
  • Key Requirements for theRole:
  • Experience of working in a similar roleand/or environment (preferably in a high end restaurantwithin
  • the hotel leisure or hospitalityindustry would be a distinct advantage)
  • BasicFood Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
  • Accurateand efficient cash handling skills
  • Highstandard of personal presentation
