The Role

Responsibilities:

• Verify patient information and insurance details.
• Accurately assign medical codes to diagnoses and procedures.
• Prepare and submit insurance claims, tracking their status.
• Calculate patient fees, deductibles, and copayments.
• Resolve billing inquiries and issues professionally.
• Analyze billing data for trends and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with medical billing regulations and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing problems.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Ideal Profile

·        B.pharmacy, M.Pharmacy, Bsc – Biotech, D.Pharmacy

·        Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Billing – US Healthcare

·        Certification in medical billing preferred.

·        Proficiency in billing software and coding.

·        Strong communication and attention to detail.

·        Understanding of healthcare compliance and regulations.
