Basketball Coach

Location: Navakkarai, Coimbatore

Working Hours:

• Morning: 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM
• Evening: 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

1. Conducting basketball training sessions for players according to the specified schedule.
2. Developing and implementing effective coaching strategies and drills to improve players' skills and performance.
3. Providing guidance and mentorship to players to enhance their understanding of basketball techniques and game strategies.
4. Evaluating players' progress and identifying areas for improvement.
5. Organizing and supervising practice matches and tournaments for players to gain practical experience.
6. Ensuring the safety and well-being of players during training sessions and matches.
7. Collaborating with the sports department to coordinate logistics for training sessions and events.
8. Maintaining records of attendance, player performance, and training schedules.
9. Communicating effectively with players, parents, and other stakeholders regarding training schedules, performance feedback, and upcoming events.
10. Adhering to the rules and regulations of the basketball association and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a basketball coach, preferably at the college level.
2. Sound knowledge of basketball techniques, rules, and strategies.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to motivate and inspire players to achieve their full potential.
5. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
6. Flexibility to work during the early morning and evening hours.
7. Certification or accreditation from a recognized basketball association or coaching program (preferred).
8. A valid driver's license and access to transportation (preferred).
