Machine/ Mechanical Design Engineer

Overall responsibilities and duties:

Design Engineer Supports complete SPM /Fixture Development Activity in Pilot Plant Department

The main missions of the role are:

To study Product & Process for which SPM/Fixture to be manufactured. Participates/Communicates with PML & Development Team to understand Machine/ Fixture Requirement Analyse the customer specifications, Drawings, requirements and highlight the problems and risks. Design SPM/Fixture internally with different CAD Tools e.g. CATIA/UG softwares. Design autonomuselty SPMS, plastic punching machines considering Ergonomy, HSE rules, FES rules, aesthetic … Study RFQ received from SPM/Fixture Manufacturing Suppliers Validate the SPM/Fixture Design with Internal Team & Supplier Highlight & Communicate updates, issue during Design Stage Validate the SPM/Fixture Assembly on CMM Machine as per Design Complete 3D/2D with Manufacturing feasibility to be done along with the Manual preparation in accordance with CE and UL Certification. Design of EOT, workstations etc…

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have/be: B.E. / Diploma

Experience :

Minimum basic qualification- B.E (Mechanical/Production/Automobile) with Minimum relevent experience of 4-5 yrs. Minimum basic qualification- Diploma (Mechanical/Production/Automobile) with Minimum relevent experience of 6 yrs.

Skills and competencies

Ability to manage a complex network in a matrixed organization Good communication skills in English & preference in customer language. Preferred exposure in Automotive Interior system product Knowledge. Proficiecnt in 3D and 2D design on CATIA/ NX. Team player and able to work with cross functional teams, customers suppliers
