ResponsibilitiesTechnical Focus on the deliveryof high quality technical design drawings and specifications to therequired regulations. Develop the technicalcapabilities of the team. Contribute totechnical solutions on projects. Initiateand participate in design peer reviews. Keep up to date with industry developments with respect to owndiscipline and appreciate the basic technical principles anddrivers of other disciplines. ProjectLeadership To act as PM on selectedprojects by managing the successful delivery of high quality multiand single disciplinary projects. Projectmanage and supervise teams to successfully deliver high qualitydiscipline projects in line with the Project LifeCycle. Complete project planningstakeholder and risk management. Inconjunction with the Project Director identify assess and managemajor project risk and secure these risks are designed out from theproject. To ensure statutory and regulatoryrequirements are met. Input into thedelivery of project P&L budgets forecasts and working capitaltargets for own projects Business Leadership Manage andsupport team. Ensure that Health &Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with companypolicies. Plan resource needs and escalateas required if there are resource requirements. Input into the recruitment and selectionprocess. Work closely with line managers toensure that Middle East (ME) communication and design processes arecontinually improved. Conduct meaningfulinductions performance management reviews and personal developmentplans that support the development of individuals and thebusiness. Lead by example and ensure QMSand Project Lifecycle compliance across their team andproject. Input into succession planning andcareer development across their team. Inputinto the Business Unit (BU) strategy and facilitate implementationacross project team. Provide regularproject status and financial performance updates to linemanager. Attend team meetings and leadproject team meetings. Cascade relevant information and encouragefeedback from team. Support the companiesapproach to Sustainability and ensure that the Sustainabilitystrategy is implemented across the team. Key Competencies / SkillsMandatory Skills Must be fullyconversant with technical software such as HAP andNavisworks. The applicant will have provenexperience in the design of Building Services with significantexperience in a similar role or demonstration of a good trackrecord. Excellent working knowledge of DMDCD DM CIBSE ASHRAE NFPA Codes Saudi Codes & Standards as wellas other local codes. Good at stake holdermanagement. The applicant should havedesign experience of ME Projects. Excellentcommand of English Language both spoken and written. People Leadership. Collaboration & Teamwork. CommercialAcumen. Technical Capability &Delivery. Adaptability & Learning. Experience of MS Office Suite ofProgrammes. Middle East experience forexposure to ME prospects is essential
