Why This Role Exists Innovapptive Innovapptive is scaling its product and engineering capabilities and requires a strong Quality Engineering leader to build a robust, scalable, and automation-first quality framework. Current quality processes need to evolve toward full automation, performance reliability, and security-first testing to support enterprise-grade customers. You will define and lead the QE vision—ensuring high product quality, faster releases, and scalable testing infrastructure across mobile, web, and cloud environments. What You Own End-to-end Quality Engineering strategy across the SDLC Test architecture for mobile, web, and API automation QE frameworks and tooling for scalability and maintainability Performance testing strategy for high-scale SaaS environments Security testing practices integrated into development lifecycle CI/CD-integrated automation pipelines Quality metrics, defect tracking, and release readiness Team building, mentoring, and scaling QE organization You Must Have 12+ years in QA/QE roles within SaaS or product-based companies Strong expertise in Mobile QA (Android/iOS), Web, and API testing Deep experience with AWS/cloud-based testing environments Proven experience in building scalable automation frameworks Hands-on experience in: API Automation (Node.js) Frontend Automation (Angular, React.js, Express.js) Strong experience with tools like Selenium, Appium, JMeter Experience implementing CI/CD-based testing pipelines Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring teams Nice to Have Experience in industrial SaaS or enterprise platforms Exposure to security testing frameworks and vulnerability assessments Experience with modern test orchestration and observability tools Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) Shift-left and continuous testing practices You Will Be Measured On % automation coverage across mobile, web, and APIs Reduction in production defects and escape rates Test execution time and CI/CD pipeline efficiency Performance benchmarks and system reliability metrics Security vulnerabilities identified and mitigated QE team productivity and scalability Release quality and on-time delivery Tech Stack & Tools Automation: Selenium, Appium, Cypress (optional) API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, Node.js frameworks Performance: JMeter, LoadRunner (optional) Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, CloudWatch) CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD Monitoring: Sentry, CloudWatch, logging tools Frameworks: Custom automation frameworks across web/mobile Compensation & Growth Senior leadership role within engineering Opportunity to define QE architecture for a global SaaS platform High impact on product quality and customer success Career path toward Head of QE / Engineering leadership
