Job Description
We are looking for a Tender Engineer / Tender Manager to handle end-to-end tendering and estimation for EPC lighting and electrical infrastructure projects. The role involves analyzing tender documents, preparing technical and commercial bids, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring accurate, competitive, and timely submissions. The Tender Manager will also lead the tendering team, oversee bid strategy, and drive profitability through effective risk and cost management.

Key Responsibilities
• Tender Analysis, BOQs & Risk Assessment: Review the scope of work, technical specifications, drawings, and contract terms; prepare and validate bills of quantities (BOQs) against client specifications; and identify technical and commercial risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Cost Estimation & Vendor Coordination: Prepare cost estimates, pricing, and commercial offers with procurement and engineering teams, and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors on pricing, technical data, and delivery timelines.
• Client Coordination & Bid Submission: Coordinate with clients and consultants on pre-bid queries, site visits, and bid clarifications; compile compliant tender documents; and submit bids within deadlines, manually or through portals such as CPPP and GeM.
• Post-bid Support & Project Handover: Support the business development and sales teams with post-bid clarifications and negotiations, and coordinate handover to the execution team upon contract award.
• Tender Database Management: Maintain a database of vendor prices, project references, and past tender submissions. Qualifications & Skills

Education:
B.
E./B.
Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or a relevant field, with an electrical background.
• EPC Project

Experience:
Prior experience in EPC projects in sectors such as power, electrical substations, renewable energy, water, oil and gas, or infrastructure.
• Government/PSU Tendering & Portals: Exposure to government and PSU tendering procedures; strong knowledge of EPC contracting and bidding processes; experience with the GeM portal and SITC; and knowledge of IREPS, CPP, and other e-procurement platforms.
• Technical Proficiency & Standards: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and estimation tools, with an understanding of project drawings and electrical, mechanical, or civil systems, based on specialization. Familiarity with FIDIC, CPWD, NTPC, NBCC, and CPRI norms is a plus.
• Communication & Negotiation: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
