Role Description This is a full-time, on-site (or freelance) Video Editor role based in Mumbai. The member will be responsible for assembling (or at times generating with AI) raw footage, selecting key shots, and creating compelling video narratives for various platforms such as social media, web, and broadcast. Daily tasks include organizing media assets, editing sequences, adding transitions, syncing audio, and integrating motion graphics and titles where needed. The role involves close collaboration with directors, producers, and other creative team members to refine concepts, ensure brand consistency, and meet project timelines. The Video Editor will also perform color correction and basic sound adjustments, export final deliverables in required formats, and maintain project files and backups. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of footage.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and brand guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or similar tools).
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and export settings for different platforms.
• Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling, with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, animation, or a related field is preferred, along with a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work.
