Kochi, Kerala, India Lumen Associates Private Limited is a growing outsourcing and professional services firm providing end-to-end finance, compliance, and advisory support to clients across Dubai, India, East Africa, Bangladesh, etc. Our major clients operate in logistics, clearing & forwarding, and import & export businesses. We are looking for a curious and driven professional who enjoys researching business ideas, analysing the numbers behind them, and turning findings into clear, decision-ready reports for our clients and management. Position: Business Research & Financial Analyst

Experience:
2 to 5 Years Salary Range: ₹40,000 to ₹60,000 per month Employment Type: Full-time Role Summary We are seeking an analytical and articulate candidate who can research, evaluate, and report on business projects for in-house use and for clients. The role covers feasibility studies, profitability and cost analysis, project reports, business plans, and loan documentation, along with professional communication to clients, banks, and tax authorities. Success in the role depends on a sharp eye for detail, the ability to quickly grasp new business and industries, and the interpersonal skills to draw out the right information from the clients and stakeholders. The candidate must be a fast learner who can process large volumes of information and handle multiple assignments at once.

Key Responsibilities
Research & Analysis
• Research industries, markets, and new business ideas, and prepare feasibility studies.
• Carry out profitability, cost factor, and break-even analysis for projects.
• Build financial projections and interpret financial statements. Reports & Documentation
• Prepare project reports, business plans, and loan processing documents.
• Draft clear reports and summaries for management and clients.
• Prepare formal communication to tax authorities, banks, and external stakeholders. Technology & AI
• Use AI tools and digital resources effectively to speed up research, analysis, and drafting. Qualifications & Skills
• MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA / M.
Com or relevant experience
• 2 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis, project reports, consulting, or a related field
• Strong overall business understanding, including the key components that drive a business (market, operations, costs, finance, and compliance) and how they shape reports that serve different business purposes
• Good understanding of accounting, financial statements, compliance, and statutory reporting
• Strong analytical skills with ability to perform in depth analysis and draw sound conclusions
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with high level of observation and the ability to grasp new information quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fast learner, curious, confident, and able to work on multiple tasks in parallel
