Job Description
Role Purpose The Brand Manager is responsible for building and protecting the organization’s brand identity across all consumer touchpoints. This includes content creation, creatives design, brand communication, and brand positioning – ensuring all marketing assets (digital, print, in-store, franchise) are on-strategy, on-brief, and on-brand. Direct reports: Content Writer, Graphic Designer, PR Executive (dotted line), and coordinates with Franchise Coordinator for brand compliance. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) – Updated 1: Brand Identity & Positioning. Define and maintain brand positioning (unique value proposition, brand persona, tone of voice). Develop brand architecture for products, services, and franchise network. Update brand guidelines (logo, colors, typography, imagery, tone). 2: Content Creation. Lead the content strategy for all marketing channels (social media, website, email, app, PR, franchise materials). Approve content calendars and key messaging themes. Ensure content is engaging, SEO-friendly, and compliant with pharma/regulatory norms (if applicable). Oversee creation of long-form content (blogs, articles, case studies, newsletters). 3: Creatives Design. Direct the graphic design team to produce visually compelling creatives for campaigns, social media, print, and franchise. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and visual identity. Review and approve all design assets before external release. Maintain a library of templates for repeatable use (social media templates, brochure templates, etc.). 4: Brand Communication. Develop and execute integrated brand communication plans for product launches, festivals, and franchise campaigns. Ensure consistent messaging across all channels (digital, print, OOH, in-store, franchise outlets). Work with PR executive to align external communication with brand voice. Manage brand-level customer communication (newsletters, announcements, crisis communication). 5: Campaign Development & Execution Develop integrated marketing campaign briefs (festival, product launch, franchise promotion) Coordinate with Content, Design, and Digital teams for campaign assets Monitor campaign effectiveness (reach, engagement, brand lift) 6: Market & Competitor Intelligence Track competitor branding, campaigns, and consumer feedback Share insights with marketing head for strategic decisions Conduct consumer research for brand perception 7: PR & Reputation Management Work with PR Executive to plan media outreach and press releases Monitor brand sentiment across online and offline channels Respond to brand-level reputational issues
