About Robotex India Robotex India brings robotics, coding and AI education to schools across the country. Our programmes have reached 1.5 million+ students across 15 states and 500+ schools, with partners across government and corporate CSR. We need a sharp, reliable accountant to keep our books, grants and numbers in order as we grow. The Role You’ll own day-to-day accounting at Robotex India and manage utilisation certificates (UCs) for our funded programmes. You’ll also support leadership with preliminary financial models for new projects and partnerships. Accuracy and deadlines matter here, because every rupee reported to a funder has to tie back to the books. What You’ll Do Accounts
• Maintain books of accounts end to end: entries, ledgers, bank and vendor reconciliations
• Handle GST, TDS and statutory compliance, including timely filings and returns
• Manage payables, receivables, payroll inputs and expense claims
• Prepare monthly MIS, closing reports and support for statutory and internal audits Utilisation Certificates & Grant Accounting
• Prepare UCs for CSR and government-funded programmes in the format each funder requires
• Track funds programme by programme: budget vs actual, spends and balances
• Keep supporting documents audit-ready and reply to funder queries on time
• Flag under-utilisation or overspend early to programme heads Financial Modelling
• Build preliminary financial models for new programmes, proposals and partnerships: costing, budgets, cash flow and break-even
• Prepare budgets for grant and CSR proposals with the partnerships team
• Run basic scenario analysis to support leadership decisions What We’re Looking For
• B.
Com / M.
Com; CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred
• 3–6 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Experience preparing utilisation certificates for CSR or government grants (strongly preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian accounting standards
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and advanced Excel (pivots, lookups, financial models)
• Highly organised and detail-focused, with a clean, documented working style
• Experience in an NGO, Section 8 company, EdTech or grant-funded organisation is a plus Why Join Us
