Role Description The Optometry Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.
Required Qualifications & Skills Diploma or Degree in Optometry from a recognized institute. Good knowledge of contact lenses, prescriptions, and optical products. Excellent written communication skills in English. Proficiency in WhatsApp, email, and basic computer operations. Good attention to detail, especially when handling prescription powers. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
• 1. Online Customer Support Handle customer queries via WhatsApp, email, and other online channels. Assist with contact lens prescriptions, product selection, lens powers, and availability. Resolve customer concerns and coordinate with sales and operations teams.
• 2. Optometry & Product Knowledge Understand contact lens prescriptions, including spherical and toric lenses. Guide customers on suitable contact lenses, prescription eyewear, and optical products. Escalate complex prescription-related queries when required.
• 3. E-commerce Operations Manage online order processing and order-related queries. Coordinate with the warehouse for stock, packing, and dispatch. Handle delivery issues, cancellations, returns, and replacements. Maintain accurate customer and order records.
