Role Description The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable features for PInterview’s online platform, ensuring a reliable and engaging experience for users. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, optimizing performance, integrating third-party tools, and collaborating with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, improving code quality, and contributing to architecture and security best practices. This is a full-time remote role, requiring effective communication and the ability to work independently in a distributed team environment. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, databases, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and integration with front-end applications.
• Experience with Software Development practices, including version control, testing, debugging, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Solid Programming skills in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar).
• Applied knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns for building maintainable and reusable code.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), relational and NoSQL databases, and security best practices for web applications.
• Ability to collaborate in remote teams, communicate clearly, and manage time and priorities effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience building scalable, user-facing online platforms or edtech applications is a plus.
