SAP BTP Full-Stack Developer

We are looking for a SAP BTP Full-Stack Developer with strong frontend expertise in SAPUI5/Fiori to design, build and deploy modern enterprise applications on SAP BTP. This role has a strong frontend focus. You should be highly comfortable building polished, responsive SAPUI5 applications, translating Figma designs into pixel-accurate interfaces, implementing custom UI behavior and styling, while also being capable of working with CAP services and S/4HANA integrations.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop responsive SAPUI5/OpenUI5 and Fiori applications, with a strong focus on frontend quality and user experience.
• Translate Figma/UI designs into pixel-accurate SAPUI5 screens, including custom CSS/LESS where standard SAP controls are insufficient.
• Build complex freestyle UI5 interfaces including multi-step forms, dashboards, dynamic tables, file uploads, dialogs, reusable components, conditional rendering and draft/save workflows.
• Develop and customize UI5 controls, fragments, formatters, routing, models and component structures.
• Implement responsive layouts across different screen sizes and ensure consistent UI behavior.
• Implement Arabic/English localization and RTL support across the application.
• Integrate SAPUI5 applications with OData V2/V4 and REST APIs, including model binding, filtering, pagination, error handling and frontend validation.
• Develop CAP applications using Node.js, including CDS models, service definitions, event handlers, validations and draft-enabled entities.
• Integrate SAP BTP applications with S/4HANA (RISE/private cloud) through BTP Destinations and Cloud Connector.
• Expose OData V4 and REST APIs through CAP for frontend and external consumers.
• Implement end-to-end role-based access using CAP authorization, XSUAA, scopes and role collections.
• Configure applications in SAP Build Work Zone and manage routing/authentication through standalone approuter.
• Integrate with SAP Build Process Automation and SAP Event Mesh where required.
• Manage MTA builds and Cloud Foundry deployments across development, testing and production environments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, testing, debugging and defect resolution.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, SAP functional consultants, backend developers and solution architects. Required Skills Strong frontend expertise is essential for this role.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAPUI5/OpenUI5 and Fiori.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS/LESS skills.
• Strong understanding of UI5 MVC architecture, components, routing, fragments, custom controls, formatters and data binding.
• Proven experience developing freestyle SAPUI5 applications, not only Fiori Elements applications.
• Proven ability to translate Figma or similar UI/UX designs into polished, pixel-accurate SAPUI5 applications.
• Experience building responsive and complex enterprise user interfaces.
• Strong understanding of OData V2/V4 consumption in UI5, including model binding, filtering, CRUD operations and error handling.
• Strong SAP CAP development experience with Node.js, including CDS modelling, service handlers, remote services and draft handling.
• Experience integrating SAP BTP applications with S/4HANA through Destinations and Cloud Connector.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services including Build Work Zone, Destination and Connectivity services.
• Working knowledge of XSUAA, scopes, role collections and CAP authorization.
• Experience with MTA builds and deployment to Cloud Foundry.
• SAP Business Application Studio and/or VS Code with CDS tooling.
• Git-based development workflows. Nice to Have
• Fiori Elements and annotations on CAP services.
• Experience developing Arabic/English bilingual applications and RTL interfaces.
• SAP Build Process Automation and Event Mesh.
• ABAP knowledge sufficient to understand or extend S/4 APIs, RAP, CDS Views and OData services.
• External identity integration using SAML2/OIDC and SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS).
• CI/CD experience using SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery, GitHub Actions or similar.
• TypeScript with CAP Node.js or CAP Java.
• SAP BTP certification.
