Job Description:

• Perform microbiological assays, including cultures, staining, and identification of bacteria, fungi, and viruses under supervision.
• Assist in the preparation and sterilization of culture media, glassware, and laboratory equipment.
• Assist in testing samples.
• Keep the lab clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of microbiological specimens.
• Record and maintain accurate data on experimental results, including microbiological growth rates, colony counts, and contamination levels.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for microbiological testing to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GMP, ISO, GLP) and help with internal audits and safety checks.
• Perform basic techniques for identifying microorganisms, including gram staining, biochemical tests, and automated systems.
