DevOps Engineer - AWS

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in deploying and managing infrastructure on AWS, along with expertise in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

    • Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

    • Maintain and improve existing infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

  2. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

    • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.

    • Implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment to ensure efficient and reliable application releases.

  3. AWS Services Management:

    • Deep understanding and hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.

    • Optimize and fine-tune AWS environments for cost efficiency and performance.

  4. Monitoring and Logging:

    • Implement and manage monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications.

    • Set up and maintain log management systems for efficient troubleshooting and analysis.

  5. Security and Compliance:

    • Implement and maintain security best practices in AWS environments.

    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  6. Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including development and operations.

    • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  7. Scripting and Automation:

    • Scripting and automation using tools like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline operational tasks.

    • Develop custom scripts for automating repetitive tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer.

  • Strong expertise in AWS services and a deep understanding of cloud architecture.

  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).

  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is a plus.
