Purpose

•Functional consultant takes up the responsibility of understanding business requirement
•Interaction with SME / stakeholders from business domains whenever required
•Takes end to end ownership to provide quality solutions as per business requirement.
• Build up knowledge in assigned areas and system understanding
• Customer support for issue resolution according to SLA. On time delivery

• Incidents, Problems & Service request resolution adhering to SLA
• Implementation of system change requests / Demand .
• Perform Root cause analysis & Impact assessments.
• Understanding, analysis and timely resolution of issues faced during Project Deployment/
support cycles
• Testing of application & change releases / Demand.

Areas of Responsibility: (Tick whichever is applicable)

Through Understanding of Incident, Problem, Change and Release management processes
Through understanding of application architecture, deployments, monitoring, health checks
Implementing the best practices and coding standards of the project.
Reporting for all the weekly tasks in form of accurate and detailed reports.
Should also work on constantly increasing the productivity of the team and reducing the waste on the other end.
Should inspire all the other team members, a Lead who is looked upon by all the members.

SAP EWM Certification

Total Exp 8-10 years with minimum 4-6 yrs in SAP EWM
4 to 6 years
Experience in EWM Template Roll-Out. Methodology for Roll-Out/Implementation.
Implementation of system change requests and releases. Incidents, Problems & Service request
resolution adhering to SLA
Perform Root cause analysis & Impact assessments.
Understanding, analysis and timely resolution of issues faced during Project Deployment /
support cycles
Test case / test data preparation and testing of application & change releases.
Document day to day tasks and related processes to prepare a knowledge base of support
activities
Requirement understanding & data gathering
Interface & Monitoring
Good experience on Project Implementation and Rollouts
Perform Role of SME and guide team members to provide solution.
Actively engage in initiatives at organization level
Reviewing solution proposed by team
Contribute for refining way of working to run AMS services
Develop good relation with business
Lead & Deliver topics which involves team members from multiple teams
Specify and document change requests (business process specification)

Technical Competencies (Required)

EWM Master Data integration with the ERP system, Usage of Handling Unit (HU) management.
Good understanding of process and layout oriented storage control for goods receipt.
Complete set up and process of Wave management, Inventory management in EWM, Setting up strategy for put away and picking in EWM,Voice picking ,
direct put away process, All types of replenishment, Process of deconsolidation inEWM, slotting, value added services, Kitting, WOCR, Knowlege in Pick
By Voice, RF picking is preferred
SAP EWM MFS knowledge is must
Knowledge on Fiori will be added advantage
Yard management and labor management process, transport management, task interleaving
Setting and usages of mobile devices, Advance cycle counting process.
Interface setting to EWM- CIF & RIF, Queue monitoring
SAP EWM -S4HANA exposure is preferred
