Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin and Android Jetpack components. Build scalable apps using MVVM architecture and Dagger/Hilt for dependency injection. Implement asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow for responsive UI and smooth playback experiences. Integrate and optimize video streaming, DRM, and player SDKs (ExoPlayer preferred). Develop intuitive UI/UX for Android TV and mobile OTT platforms following Google TV guidelines. Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams to deliver high-quality, performant applications. Conduct code reviews, identify bottlenecks, and improve app performance. Stay updated with the latest Android tools, frameworks, and best practices. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK Experience with MVVM architecture, Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, etc.) Dependency injection using Dagger 2 / Hilt Experience with Coroutines / Flow for asynchronous programming Proficiency in ExoPlayer and live streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, DRM) Hands-on experience with Android TV / OTT apps Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries Solid understanding of Material Design and responsive UI for TV and mobile Version control with Git Good to Have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) Knowledge of Firebase, Crashlytics, and Analytics tools Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies Familiarity with Play Store / TV Store deployment process
