Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for mobile (Android/iOS) and web applications using Appium and Selenium. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable test scripts in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing across multiple devices and browsers. Utilize ADB commands for Android device control, debugging, and validation during mobile testing. Implement and maintain automation in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (or similar tools). Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases. Debug test failures, identify root causes, and report detailed defects with logs, screenshots, or videos. Use Git/GitHub for source code management, branching, and code reviews. Integrate automation suites into continuous testing pipelines to ensure early detection of issues. Optimize test execution time and maintain test stability across devices and environments. (Good to have) Experience with Maestro, mobile test orchestration, or cloud device farms (BrowserStack, SauceLabs, Firebase Test Lab). Required Skills & Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in Appium (mobile automation) and Selenium (web automation). Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Java / Python / JavaScript. Good understanding of ADB commands and Android debugging tools. Familiarity with TestNG / JUnit / PyTest / Mocha frameworks for test structure and reporting. Experience in setting up and maintaining automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI). Strong knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control and collaboration. Exposure to cross-platform testing, API testing (Postman, RestAssured, etc.), and cloud device testing tools. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Ability to work in an agile environment with sprint cycles and quick releases. Preferred / Nice to Have Experience with Maestro, Detox, or other mobile automation frameworks. Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-based CI/CD setups. Knowledge of performance testing, network logs, or video streaming app testing. Experience integrating test reports (Allure, Extent, etc.) into CI/CD dashboards. Basic knowledge of API automation and database validation.
