The candidate can expect to be responsible for a diverse mix of activities. An ideal candidate is someone who is a strong self-starter, thrives working under pressure, can best utilizing their experience to enhance market/credit risk management.What you will be doingPerform a wide variety of daily risk reporting activities.Monitor the Market and Credit Risk Platform daily processes that run across Shell T&S businesses. Review and resolve errors/alerts/exceptions in coordination with stakeholders and IT teams.Play a coordination role among team members across the globe address and correct data integrity issues in a timely manner.Maintain/update various configurations for the Credit Risk Platform in coordination with external stakeholders.Validate daily movements for risk metrics and report key drivers and metrics to T&S senior management.Provide ad hoc analysis by running what if simulations and queries off SQL and Oracle Databases.Monitor & Support daily production of BI Reporting.Ensure activities are carried out with safety awareness and are performed in compliance with external regulation, the Shell Control Framework, SOX and Financial Reporting requirements and Shell Trading mandate and policies.What you bringAt least 1-2 years techno-functional experience within finance. Freshers are welcome to apply.Bachelor's degree, preferably in Statistics, Economics or Mathematics, Finance or Business. MBA is a plusExperience working with SQL programming, ETL and BI tools (PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerAutomate).Risk management knowledge or experience would be a strong plus.Highly numerate, logical, have the ability to prioritize and multi-task.Understanding of Energy Markets business and trading management information systems.Be motivated to 'dig into conflicting data' and convincingly explaining the 'story behind them'.Degree or certification in finance, data analytics, mathematics or engineering disciplines.CFA or GARP certificates will also be an advantage.
