Title:Sr. Technical Professional - Instrumentation/ControlsROLE - Instrumentation EngineerPerform Project technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Discipline Lead consisting in design, checking, layoutdefinition, installation drawings and material definition, validation, testing and engineering of process measuring sensors,process actuators, installation elements and process safety elementsInterface and coordinate with the other Project Team Specialists and DesignersCoordinate technical activities performed either by insourcing either by outsourcingExperience required is between 8-12 yearsThe Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirementsTasks include:A - Development Technology know how and Commercial supportB - FeasibilityC - Bidding phase/Commercial proposal developmentPrepare Instrumentation elements (tagged items and bulk material), quantities for cost and erection works estimatesSupport Discipline Lead to define man hours and cost estimatesD - Project ExecutionReview Client technical documentation and requirementsCoordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control subcontracted engineering documentsDefine engineering design basis and guidelinesPrepare the technical documentation for Instrumentation elements material and services requisitions and prepare, according to internal procedures, the technical evaluationsProvide technical support to Project TeamOptimize Instrumentation design ensuring minimal cost and complexity in compliance with the contractual and safety requirementsPrepare Instrumentation technical specificationsPrepare Instrumentation data sheetsPrepare Instrumentation installation specifications and drawingsPrepare Instrumentation BOQs and MTOsParticipate to P and ID mechanizationValidate Vendor control valves and safety valves sizing calculationsValidate Vendor measurements elements sizing calculationsCoordinate engineering activitiesEnsure Instrumentation 3D modeling design activitiesParticipate to F.A.T. activities ad Vendor workshopE - Construction and Start upProvide technical and engineering support to construction TeamPerform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases.
