Authority to hire, discipline, control work and terminate employment for direct reports and broader team as needed. Authority to promote, increase salary and bonus for direct reports and broader team as needed. Ensure managers and leads provide coaching and development opportunities to staff. Final accountability and responsibility for completing and delivering PPRs. Ensure SOPs/regulations are met and escalate as needed. Product expert for COE. Comprehensive and demonstrated knowledge of overall process and operating model. Subject matter expert for corporate committees and initiatives. Implement and communicate to staff, advised changes to the risk framework and/or escalation chain. Ensure self and team anticipates, monitors, actively manages and reports all risk and compliance issues, breaches and suspicious activities. Act in accordance with Risk Excellence and role model Ethical behaviour and decision making. Perform related duties as assigned. Shared Accountabilities: Develop effective relationships with peers by sharing expertise with colleagues and other departments. Liaise with internal groups to maintain SOPs, internal and external audits. Cultivate effective relationships with our internal and external global partners. Share responsibility for participating in corporate committees and initiatives. Share expertise with colleagues and other departments. Share coaching and development of staff with Vice President. Develop and maintain procedures. Proficiency Expectation & Education/Experience Requirements: Competent to Expert with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and a focus in Finance or related field. 6-8 years of related experience including previous experience managing staff. Metrics: Client: Adhere to SLAs and SOPs; Internal/external client satisfaction. Operational: Timeliness and accuracy of all related processes; Ensure process improvements are adopted; Champion for process improvements. Risk: Comply with risk and compliance programs and actions including the timely completion of related training; Comply with relevant laws and regulatory requirements; Adhere to company policies and guidelines; Mitigate process risk. General: Continuous personal development; Encourage and support personal and team development. Decision Rights: Owns: Staff and personal development; Defining and implementing projects, process improvements and best practices; Identification, resolution, reporting or escalation of exceptions, breaches and suspicious activities as required by our risk and compliance programs. Influences: Execution of corporate initiatives; Planning for the team (e.g., short term deliverables and long term initiatives). Supports: The user lifecycle administration process.
