Technical Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a multifaceted and forward-thinking Technical Architect - Workday to lead innovation initiatives across our HR technology landscape. This role will focus on Workday Extend, AI/ML integration, and emerging technologies to enhance employee experience, operational efficiency, and digital transformation. As a key member of the HR Tech leadership team, you will architect scalable, secure, and intelligent solutions that align with our strategic HR and business goals. Key Responsibilities: Architect and design innovative solutions using Workday Extend, Workday Orchestrate to address complex HR business needs. Lead AI/ML-driven initiatives in the Workday ecosystem, including use cases like predictive analytics, intelligent automation, and conversational interfaces. Collaborate with HR COEs, IT, and business collaborators to find opportunities for innovation and translate them into technical solutions. Serve as the technical SME for Workday Extend and integrations, ensuring standard processes in security, scalability, and maintainability. Drive proof-of-concepts (POCs) and rapid prototyping for new technologies in the HR space. Drive AI-led solutions in areas such as talent acquisition, employee experience, workforce analytics, and HR service delivery. Partner with Workday and third-party vendors to evaluate and implement new capabilities. Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in HR Technology, with at least 3 years in a Workday technical leadership role. Deep expertise in Workday Extend, Workday Studio, Workday Integration Framework, and Workday APIs. Experience with AI/ML platforms and integrating them with enterprise applications. Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, REST APIs, and event-driven systems. Proven track record of delivering innovative HR tech solutions at scale. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: Workday certifications in Extend, Integration, or Studio. Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, chatbots, or RPA in HR contexts. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Passion for emerging technologies and a strong innovation approach.
