Job Description-

Digital Marketing & Lead Generation Specialist

We are seeking a energetic and creative professional with 2–4 years of proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, and lead generation within the higher education or study abroad consulting sector. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end digital presence of a UK University, driving awareness, engagement, and student inquiries through innovative campaigns and data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Campaign Management

  • Develop and execute effective lead generation strategies targeting prospective students and parents.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Instagram and LinkedIn to drive qualified inquiries.
  • Manage CRM-based email marketing campaigns for nurturing and conversion.
  • Track, analyze, and report campaign ROI and optimize performance.

2. Social Media & Digital Presence

  • Handle all official social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube) for the India campus.
  • Design and implement content calendars that align with global brand guidelines and regional priorities.
  • Conceptualize, draft, and post engaging content including creatives, reels, videos, infographics, and blogs.
  • Grow the online community and maintain consistent engagement with followers.

3. Content Strategy & Branding

  • Plan, write, and publish thought-leadership blogs and LinkedIn articles to position the university in India's education landscape.
  • Coordinate with academic staff, alumni, and students to generate authentic stories and success narratives.
  • Ensure all digital communication aligns with university brand tone, voice, and guidelines.

4. Competitive Mapping & Market Insights

  • Conduct competitive analysis of peer universities and study abroad consultants.
  • Monitor industry trends in higher education and student recruitment.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership to strengthen positioning in India.

5. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with the admissions, business development, and academic teams to align campaigns with recruitment goals.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on campaign performance, lead funnel, and engagement metrics.
  • Suggest new tools, technologies, or platforms to improve efficiency and reach.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    2–4 years in digital marketing, social media management, and lead generation.
  • Industry Background (mandatory):
    Experience with universities, higher education institutions, or study abroad consultants
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO/SEM, paid campaigns, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Zoho, or similar).
  • Basic design/content creation skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent communication, creativity, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
