Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Planning Engineer Civil Engineering to manage and optimize the planning process for large-scale projects. This role involves creating strategic plans, overseeing project schedules, and working with various teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant project delivery. Ideal candidates are highly organized and capable of forecasting, troubleshooting, and improving project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Design and implement effective strategic plans to guide complex MEP civil engineering projects from initiation through completion.
  • Project Monitoring: Track and evaluate project progress, ensuring milestones and deliverables meet established timelines and budgets.
  • Schedule Compliance: Ensure project adherence to schedules and budget constraints, making adjustments and improvements as needed.
  • Team Support: Mentor and support junior planners, encouraging their growth and contributing to a skilled planning team.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to maximize project efficiency and address challenges.
  • Schedule Analysis: Analyze and evaluate current project status against baseline schedules, assess impacts from design or construction changes, and implement solutions to avoid slippage.
  • Reporting: Regularly report the schedule status and project milestones to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continued progress.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Extensive experience in planning within MEP and civil engineering, with a focus on complex or large-scale projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in project management tools and software; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in project management are advantageous.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes, with the ability to navigate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of building projects.
