Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

  • 12+ years of experience with IBM Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, DB2 and VSAM
  • 5+ years of experience with Microfocus in architecting & delivering end-to-end solutions in Microfocus.
  • Experience in migration of Legacy application in highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise platform on AWS Cloud
  • Deep understanding of fundamentals and services of AWS Cloud like VPC, EC2, S3, Auto scaling, RDS, CloudFormation and CloudWatch
  • Experience with assessment of mainframe applications and databases to formulate plans for migrating it to cloud
  • Well versed with different tools and methodologies used to migrate mainframe workloads
  • Good understanding of Linux platform
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

Good-to-Have

  • Experience in automation and provisioning of AWS cloud environments using API's, CLI and scripts
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

1 Assess mainframe enterprise application for migration

2 Architect, design, lead and perform migration of mainframe enterprise application to AWS with Microfocus as a rehost platform.

3 Design, develop and implement cloud infrastructure based on AWS cloud services

TCS Eligibility Criteria:* with minimum 3 years of relevant IT-experience post

Qualification.*Only Full-Time courses would be considered.
