Duty Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and service-driven Duty Manager to oversee daily resort operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between management and operations teams, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments and maintaining the highest hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day resort operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, and Guest Relations.
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) — handle guest concerns, service recovery, and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
- Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction through proactive service and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas, and resort facilities to uphold hygiene and quality standards.
- Manage room inventory and coordinate with the reservations team for optimal occupancy and revenue.
- Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes and guest engagement throughout their stay.
- Handle emergency or critical situations with sound judgment and professionalism.
- Prepare daily reports, manage handovers, and ensure effective communication between shifts.
- Mentor, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service and maintain resort standards
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Guest-oriented approach with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of PMS (Property Management Systems) and front office operations.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Qualification & Experience:
- Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Front Office or Operations in a resort or upscale hospitality property.
- Prior experience in a resort or leisure hospitality environment preferred.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
