  • Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases for validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation between source, staging, and target systems using complex SQL queries.
  • Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter, including functional, performance, and security aspects.
  • Work on Linux/Unix environments for executing shell scripts, monitoring jobs, and validating logs.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of ETL workflows, including data pipelines, scheduling, and monitoring tools.
  • Identify, log, and track defects in tools like JIRA / Azure DevOps / HP ALM, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
  • Create and maintain test plans, test data, and test reports aligned with project requirements.

  • Work closely with business analysts, developers, and data engineers to ensure high-quality data delivery.

  • Job Description:Required Skills & Experience:

  • 45 years of experience in ETL / Data Warehouse Testing.

  • Strong expertise in SQL (Joins, Aggregations, Window Functions) for validating data at large scale.
  • Good hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar).
  • Strong experience with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting for job monitoring and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience in API Testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter.
  • Familiarity with ETL job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, Airflow, etc.).
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, STLC, and defect management processes.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Data Factory, or GCP BigQuery) is an advantage.
