About The Opportunity
A leading firm in Cloud Data & Analytics and IT Services, focused on designing, implementing, and operating cloud-native data platforms on Microsoft Azure for enterprise customers. We build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and analytics solutions that drive insights and operational decisioning across finance, retail, and SaaS verticals. This on-site India role is ideal for hands-on engineers who can deliver production-grade Azure data solutions end-to-end.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Synapse for batch and near-real-time ingestion.
  • Develop and optimize data models, SQL/Synapse queries, and Spark jobs to meet SLAs for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement and manage ADLS Gen2 storage architecture, partitioning strategies, and data lifecycle policies.
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for deployment using Azure DevOps and ARM/Bicep or Terraform; enforce release best practices.
  • Establish monitoring, observability, alerting, and data quality checks for pipelines and data products (logging, metrics, & cost monitoring).
  • Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into production-ready solutions and operational runbooks.
