Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Java Application Developer with 3–5 years of professional experience to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to further develop their skills in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development, while contributing to impactful web applications in a collaborative and agile environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Contribute to various phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with team members in an agile setting to deliver reliable, maintainable, and high-quality code.
  • Participate in code reviews and help troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
  • Assist in the design and development of web applications and backend services.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and help document solutions for future reference.
  • Work with senior developers and leads to understand technical and business requirements.
  • Write unit tests and participate in system testing to ensure software quality.

Must-Have Skills

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Java/JEE programming.
  • Solid understanding of Java 8 (or above), Spring Boot, and basic REST API development.
  • Familiarity with Web Services (REST; knowledge of SOAP is a plus).
  • Experience with Core Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and basic design patterns.
  • Experience working with relational databases (such as Oracle or MySQL); exposure to NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
  • Experience using version control systems (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins preferred).
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment.
  • Experience writing and running unit tests (JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks).
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to contribute to documentation.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (especially Azure) or containerization tools (Docker).
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (Angular, React, or NodeJS).
  • Awareness of distributed systems concepts and application monitoring tools.
  • Experience using project management or issue tracking tools (such as JIRA).
  • Any relevant Java, Spring, or cloud certifications are a plus.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
