Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Salesforce customization and development, with a deep understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and modern development best practices. You will collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions while ensuring best practices in coding, deployment, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications and solutions using Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to build scalable and maintainable code.
  • Work with complex data structures, including Maps and Collections, to optimize application logic and performance.
  • Develop and manage asynchronous Apex (Batch Apex, Queueable, Future, Scheduled jobs) for handling large data volumes and complex business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
  • Migrate functionality from Salesforce Classic to Lightning, leveraging Flows and other declarative tools to modernize user experiences.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external applications and APIs where required.
  • Use Git/GitHub for version control, branching, and managing pull requests to ensure proper code reviews and maintain code quality.
  • Optimize queries and business logic for efficient performance, adhering to Salesforce governor limits.
  • Stay updated with Salesforce releases and apply new features where beneficial.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the teams technical growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience in Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Strong programming fundamentals with proven application of OOP principles.
  • Expertise in asynchronous Apex (Batch, Queueable, Scheduled, Future methods).
  • Experience with Maps, Sets, Lists and other collection types to handle complex logic.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce platform limits, performance optimization, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using Git/GitHub for version control and managing collaborative development workflows, including pull requests.
  • Experience migrating from Salesforce Classic to Lightning, including building Flows and leveraging Lightning tools.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps processes, CI/CD tools, and deployment best practices.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II or other relevant Salesforce certifications (preferred).

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce CPQ implementation and customization experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
  • Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
