Overview of the Role
IND Senior Manager Wealth - PA - Technology is a role having deep technical, systems, domain knowledge and quality assurance focus. This role is at ease and adept at getting out of his/her comfort zone to tackle new large projects and technologies, is leveraging more broadly than an IND Manager, and is leveraging both laterally and vertically. People and Performance management in a wide variety of situations and perform conversations for career growth. Focused on top HR practices effecting in exceeding the retention and engagement targets.
Key Responsibilities
· Develops success measures from both the client perspective and Aon's perspective.
· Consults with internal or external team members on complex or critical client requests; address complex technical requirements and perform gap and/or impact analysis. Review estimated hours and recommend skill sets required.
· Can consult with client, third party stakeholders--help team to understand what client wants vs. just how it can get done.
· Accurately estimates the people resources, time, and cost required to deliver quality solutions meeting client needs.
· Articulates value and return on investment of new pieces of work to the client to ensure the client appreciates the real value of the work relative to its cost.
· Creatively reconciles client needs/demands with project timelines, resources, quality, and budget.
· Shares one's own in-depth knowledge of clients' goals, priorities, and needs, and uses that knowledge to guide the efforts of the team.
· Develops solution to a complex problem/project, help with advanced debugging; understands unique plan provisions of the aligned client(s) and how they deviate from standards/best practices.
· Ensures that all associates engaged with customers and clients adhere to agreed-upon quality criteria and deliverables.
· Defines, in measurable terms, the key indicators of success and drives customer and client focus within the team. Influences by example and actively works as necessary with individual associates to adapt to changing business needs.
· Anticipates the need for change and helps other associates adjust their priorities and activities to meet the needs of the situation.
· Is a role model for soliciting feedback; helps others to accept and apply feedback to increase the contributions
· Builds and manages effective cross-cultural teams by leveraging cross-cultural differences and dynamics of all aspects of managing others.
· Manages cross-cultural conflict to achieve optimal business results.
· Leverages the talent/resources on the team to generate results
· Responsible for ongoing skill development of the DRs based on the project needs/competency gaps (e.g., helps to identify project alignments by matching business needs with associate development needs.)
Role Specifications
Education/Certifications
· Bachelor's degree (with preferred concentrations in Math, Actuarial Science, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, MIS) or equivalent work experience.
Experience
· years of relevant work experience required (2 years at AON in a IND Manager – 6.1 or similar role).
· People Management Experience.
· Project management skills.
· Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
· Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
· Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
· Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products
Domain and Technical Skills/Required Skills
· Experience with benefits administration in Defined Benefit (DB)/DC.
· Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of technical/domain solutions.
· Proven experience in overseeing at least 1 cross client technical initiatives
· Experience with production scheduling software.
· Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
· Extensive experience with EQA or PPP Tools/applications & DBMS including SQL and Data Models.
· Familiarity with and understanding of cost build worksheets, Business Metrics
· Strong people and project management skills.

· Responsible for coordinating production reviews, signing off on the stability of all newly released projects into production, and completing a transition to Operations for ongoing support.

· Negotiates scope/change of scope, timelines, budgets and project deliverables with clients and ensures that pricing is adjusted to reflect changes and project profitability.
· Provides Senior Management and Leadership with appropriate reporting on project outcomes as assessed against defined success criteria.
· Implements a communication and documentation process that enables a multi-disciplinary and/or multi-regional team to provide seamless service to the client.
Client Interaction
· Ability to work closely with multi-culture teams across geographies and develop good working relationships.
· Participates in innovation ideas by working on its implementation brought by experienced colleagues in team
Work Timings and Location
· General timings would be 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm IST and willing to work beyond normal business hours or alternate shifts if required.
· Company transportation will be provided.
· Location will be for Bangalore / Gurugram / Noida, India.
Selection Procedure
· Candidates will undergo two rounds of implementations interview post screening round by HR
Eligibility
• years of relevant work experience required in relevant industry knowledge (US/ Can domain is preferable)
• years at AON in a Manager or similar role
