Rotational shifts between 9:00 AM–5:00 PM and 11:00 AM–8:00 PM

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced
Operations Manager (Administrative Role)
to oversee day-to-day operations and coordination across our pan-India laboratory network.

This position is
administrative in nature (no bench/lab work)
but requires strong
technical understanding of NGS, RT-PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and genetics workflows
to effectively manage and resolve operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee
    daily administrative and operational functions
    for multiple lab sites across India.
  • Manage rosters, reporting, and performance tracking
    for laboratory teams.
  • Handle
    inventory and consumables management
    , ensuring smooth availability of reagents and materials.
  • Coordinate and resolve instrumentation or process issues
    with internal teams and service vendors.
  • Serve as the
    primary point of contact
    for lab operations, addressing any issues related to workflows, logistics, or staff scheduling.
  • Ensure
    compliance with SOPs, QA/QC standards
    , and timely communication of operational updates.
  • Collaborate with scientific and technical leads to
    optimize efficiency in testing workflows
    (NGS, RT-PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, etc.).
  • Generate, review, and submit reports
    on operations, manpower utilization, and productivity metrics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
    in Biotechnology, Genetics, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • 5–6 years of experience
    in operations or lab administration (preferably in molecular diagnostics, genomics, or healthcare).
  • Sound knowledge of
    NGS, RT-PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, and genetic testing processes
    .
  • Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in
    MS Excel and reporting tools
    .
  • Ability to handle
    rotational shifts
    and manage multiple lab sites remotely.
