  1. Medico-Legal Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive medico-legal reports and provide expert testimony in courts when required.
  • Assist in handling cases involving injuries, sexual assaults, poisoning, and other medico-legal incidents.
  1. Clinical Duties:
  • Manage medico-legal cases referred to the department.
  • Provide forensic consultation services for clinical cases requiring medico-legal evaluation.
  1. Education and Training:
  • Supervise and train junior residents, interns, and medical students in forensic medicine and pathology practices.
  • Conduct lectures, practical sessions, and case discussions to enhance learning in forensic medicine.

  • Engage in forensic research projects to advance knowledge and practice in forensic medicine.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
