Assistant Branch Manager

- Assist the Branch Manager in achieving monthly / quarterly / annual sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to boost furniture / home-furnishing product sales.
- Oversee daily operations of the showroom (opening/closing, displays, inventory, cleanliness).
- Ensure efficient management of stock: incoming shipments, storage, damage control, display replenishment.
- Coordinate with procurement/purchase team to ensure timely availability of products.
- Supervise, motivate, and train sales staff, floor staff, customer service team.
- Ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction in the showroom.
- Assist in hiring & performance reviews, attendance, scheduling.
- Handle escalated customer queries, complaints, returns, warranty issues.
- Maintain showroom ambience and product display to appeal to customers.
- Ensure that customer service is consistent and upholds brand reputation.
- Assist in managing budgets for the branch (staff, operations, marketing/promotions).
- Analyze sales metrics, profit margins, expenses; prepare reports for management.
- Help ensure collections (payments), manage receivables and payables linked to branch operations.
- Work with marketing team to execute showroom promotions, seasonal offers, local advertisements.
- Ensure promotions are well displayed and communicated to customers.
- Monitor effectiveness of promotional activities.
- Ensure showroom complies with company policies, statutory regulations (licenses, safety, labor laws).
- Ensure safety of staff & customers; proper handling of furniture, logistics, storage.
- Suggest improvements in processes (sales, customer service, operations).
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activity, furniture styles and customer preferences.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
